Abstract

A cleaning compound for removing rust or mineral salt deposits, such as fur scale, contains anhydrous nontoxic, water soluble organic acid and alkali (ne earth) mineral acid salts, acid, sodium phosphate and chloride and potassium persulphate. Spec. a surface wetting agent is added and the mixture applied in an inert base, such as silica, to the surface to be treated.
