Abstract

Compn. for treatment of vegetable species such as grasses, potatoes, tomatoes and beet to improve growth rate, and for treatment of seeds to improve germination contains a mixt. of soil bacteria such as Azobacters, Myxobacteria, and Actinomycetes together with a nutritional support. The compsn. pref. contain 0.5-2g bacteria per 100 kg. In an example, a homogenised mixt. is made from 0.25 g each of Thiobacteria and Myxobacteria, 0.5g Azobacters, 16kg Ca3(PO4)2, 4kg K2SO4, 4kg, NaNO3, 8 kg FeCl3, 36 kg Torula yeast, 12 kg rice flour, and 12 kg casein. Application rate to seeds is 2-3 g/kg.
