Abstract

Filling projectile casing with molten explosives without using shrinkage holes. A rolling base has a perforated plate for inserting a number of projectile casings, and a heating hood, which can be lowered, surrounds the superstructure and has openings which are cylindrical at the top. The base is supplied with cooling water, and the openings in the heating hood are through channels with metal rings at the top of the projectile casings. The heating hood has one or more rods descending into the molten mass and intended for one or more molten bodies in order to supply heat to the melt.
