Abstract

Photographic product comprises at least one silver halide layer applied to a support, and a fog inhibitor as stabiliser, this inhibitor consisting of a compound of formul I: (where R is alkyl or aryl; and m and n are each 1-6). Compd. I is pref. bis-2,2'-(anhydro-N-phenyl-N'-sulphoethyl-N"-guanido)ethyl/disulp- hide. The compds. I effectively inhibit the formation of chemical fog in the silver halide emulsions, without decreasing the sensitivity and contrast of the emulsions.
