Abstract

A flexible supply pipe and connection for a gas burner Comprises a convoluted tube, an outer woven casing, and an external steel tape covering, with a sleeve, brazed/soldered to at least one end. The sleeve which has a semi-circular section annular groove in its inner surface, fits on a connection pipe of the burner or stop valve, so that the groove cooperates with a groove on the connecting pipe to define an enclosed circular section annular channel through which a steel wire is threaded to prevent axial separation of the pipe and sleeve, but allow rotational movement. Pref. the joint is covered with a PTFE sleeve.
