Claims (10)
1. Moderatormaterial för att användas för att moderera snabba, speci-ellt fissionsneutroner till epitermiska neutroner, känneteck- 5. a t därav, att huvudkomponenterna av moderatormaterialet utgörs av aluminiumfluorid och aluminiummetall, som utformats till en väsentligen porfri och kompakt komposit.
2. Moderatormaterial enligt patentkrav 1, kännetecknat 10 därav, att där finns 20-50 vol-% aluminiummetall och 80-50 vol-% aluminiumfluorid.
3. Moderatormaterial enligt patentkrav 2, kännetecknat därav, att i moderatorstycket (15) som framställts av moderatormaterial 15 bildas en kontinuerlig tredimensionell nätformig matris av aluminiummetall, varvid utrymmena som blir kvar inne i matrisen fylls väsentligen helt av aluminiumfluorid.
4. Moderatormaterial enligt nägot av patentkraven 1-3, känne -20 tecknat därav, att man i detta tillsatt ämne som absorberar termiska neutroner, som inte producerar svärt dämpbara högenergigamma-strälar.
5. Moderatormaterial enligt patentkrav 4, kännetecknat 25 därav, att man tillsatt ca 1 vol-% litiumfluorid i moderatormaterialet.
6. Användningen av moderatormaterialet enligt nägot av patentkraven 1-5 vid neutroninfängningsvärd av cancertumörer.
7. Användning enligt patentkrav 6 vid borneutroninfängningsvärd (BNCT).
8. Användningen av moderatormaterialet enligt nägot av patentkraven 1-5 eller användningen enligt patentkrav 6 eller 7, där man i den delen (H) av kroppen som skall värdas leder epitermiska neutroner frän en yttre 35 källa, som inte termaliseras förrän innanför kroppen. 92890
9. Användning enligt nägot av patentkraven 6-8, där neutronkällan ut-görs av en forskningsreaktor, som primärt producerar snabba fissions -neutroner, som pä ett kontrollerat sätt modereras tili epitermiska inom energiomrädet 1 eV ...
