Abstract

The invention relates to a material for treatment of biologically degradable material, such as for storage or composting. The material is based on plant material which has been granulated in such a way that the natural water retention capacity of the material has remained essentially unchanged. Such plant material is obtained from further processing of plants, such as various fractions which can be added in the granulation and/or products having a beneficial effect on the use of the material, such as saccharide, cellulose, starch or lignin products.
