Claims (8)

1. För användning i engängsprodukter, säsom blöjor, bindor eller särförband, avsedd absorptionskropp, innefat- 5 tande minst ett slag av absorberande fibrer och ett me-delst värme aktiverbart bindemedel, företrädesvis i form av bindefibrer, varvid absorptionsfibrerna bundits tili en sanunanhängande kropp medelst bindemedlet, känne-t e c k n a d därav, att de absorberande fibrerna och 10 bindemedlet är homogent blandade i absorptionskroppen, vilken genom en i förhällande tili densammas största yta vinkelrät riktning efter hand ökande grad av fiberbindning och komprimering har en i säväl vätt som torrt tillständ bestäende kontinuerlig densitetsgradient i nämnda rikt-15 ning.
2. Absorptionskropp enligt patentkravet 1, k ä n-netecknad därav, att den har sin lägsta densitet i sitt ena ytskikt (1) och en i riktning mot det motsatta ytskiktet (2) kontinuerligt ökande täthet, samt att det 20 sistnämnda ytskiktet har ett i detsamma extra komprimerat sanunanhängande mönster för bättre spridning av den absor-berade vätskan i detta skikt.
3. Absorptionskropp enligt patentkravet 1 eller 2, kännetecknad därav, att densiteten i dess ena 25 ytskikt (1) är mellan 0,01 - 0,03 g/cm3, företrädesvis omkring 0,02 g/cm3, och mellan 0,10 - 0,40 g/cm3 företrädesvis omkring 0,20 g/cm3 i det motsatta ytskiktet (2), under det att medelvärdet för kroppen som helhet är omkring 0,03 - 0,12 g/cm3. 30
4. Sätt för framställning av en absorptionskropp enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknat därav, att av absorptionsfibrerna och bland dem homogent inblandat, medelst värme aktiverbart bindemedel bildas i en huvudsak-ligen okomprimerad bana (8), vilken uppvärmes (9) för bin-35 demedlets aktivering och absorptionsfibrernas förbindning 11 81958 medelst bindemedlet, varefter banan (8) nedkyles till en temperatur strax under bindmedlets bidningstemperatur och därpä komprimeras mellan minst ett par valspar (12), av vilka den ena valsen (14) är kail, eller har en bindemed-5 lets bindningstemperatur understigande temperatur, och den andra valsen (13) har en temperatur, vilken överstiger denna bindningstemperatur, varigenom en i riktning frän den varmare valsen (13) till den kallare (14) kontinuer-ligt avtagande bindningseffekt erhälles, vilken ger en 10 densitetsgradient i banan efter passerandet av det nämnda paret valsar (12).
5. Sätt enligt patentkravet 4, känneteck-n a t därav, att banan (8) vid sammanbindningen av fib-rerna komprimeras (10) till lämlig densitet innan avkyl- 15 ningen och den därpä följande densitetsgradientgivande komprimeringen i valsparet (12) sker.
6. Sätt enligt patentkravet 4 eller 5, känne-t e c k n a t därav, att uppvärmningen för aktiveringen av bindemedlet sker medelst varmluft. 20
7. Sätt enligt patentkravet 4 eller 5, känne- t e c k n a t därav, att uppvärmningen för bindemedlets aktivering sker med hjälp av mikrovägsenergi.
8. Sätt enligt nägot av patentkraven 4-7, k ä n -netecknat därav, att banan (8) medelst pä den 25 varmare valsen (13) befintliga präglingshjälpmedel förses med ett sammanhängande ytmönster i det mot denna vais an-liggande banytskiktet för förstärkning av den vätskespri-dande förmägan 1 detta.
