Claims (10)

1. Förfarande för framställning av svavelsyra genom katalytisk oxidation av svaveldioxid tili svaveltrioxid, 5 absorption av svaveltrioxid i svavelsyra och kylning av svavelsyran i en värmeväxlare genom överföring av värme tili ett annat flytande ämne, kännetecknat därav, att en gas som innehäller svaveltrioxid bringas i kon-takt med svavelsyra som har en koncentration inom omrädet 10 98 % - 101 %, varvid svaveltrioxid absorberas i svavelsyran och absorptionsvärme utvecklas, vilken absorption utförs i ett värmeutvinningstorn, tili vilket svavelsyran leds i en koncentration av minst 98 procent och vid en temperatur av minst 120°C och frän vilket svavelsyran avlägsnas i en 15 koncentration av minst 99 procent och vid en temperatur som överstiger 120°C, och absorptionsvärmet avlägsnas frän svavelsyran i användbar form genom att Överföra värmet tili ett annat flytande ämne i en värmeväxlare och sälunda upp-hetta det andra flytande ämnet tili en temperatur som över-20 stiger 120°C.
