Claims (9)

1. Kabel bildad av ett eller flera skikt av sam-mantvinnade kardeler, varvid varje kardel i skiktet eller i atminstone ett skikt är täckt med en enskild mantel av ett plast- eller gummimaterial, kännetecknad därav, att atminstone nagra av kardelarna (10; 36) har en mantel (20; 40) med icke-cirkulär tvärsektion som sträcker sig i spiral längs ifragavarande kardel innan kardelarna tvinnas samman, varvid mantlarna (20; 40) hos kardelarna (10; 36) i det tvinnade skiktet är sa formade, att de griper i va-randra för att fixera det inbördes förhallandet i rummet mellan kardelerna i kabeln.
2. Kabel enligt patentkrav lr kännetecknad därav, att varje mantel (20) har en tvärsektion som är icke-cirkulär under bildande av tvä pa avstand fran va-randra belägna sidoytor (16) som är väsentligen raka i plan vinkelrätt mot kabelaxeln och som ingriper med korresponde-rande ytor hos de angränsande kardelernas mantlar.
3. Kabel enligt patentkrav 1, kännetecknad därav, att växelvis belägna kardeler (10a) är försed-da med en mantel (20a) med cirkulär tvärsektion medan varje kardel (10b) mellan nämnda växelvis liggande kardeler är försedda med en mantel (20b) med tva konkava sidoytor (16b), som mottar nämnda angränsande kardelers mantlar med cirkulär tvärsektion.
4. Kabel enligt patentkrav 1, kännetecknad därav, att kardelerna som bildar kabelns yttre skikt är mantlade och att de yttre ytorna hos nämnda mantlar är försedda med formationer (25; 26) för samverkan med den yta över vilken kabeln passerar för att därvid avlägsna vatten fran mellan kabeln och ytan.
