Claims (7)

1. Sätt att i ett steg förbereda en chargeblandning avsedd att in-matas i en smältugn, kännetecknat av att en i rätt bland-ningsförhlllande blandad och homogeniserad chargeblandning (4) leds medelst en lämplig fördelningsanordning till Övre delen av en förbe-handlingssilo (6), till ytan av en chargeblandninysbädd i silon; charge-blandningsbädden bringas att sjunka nedät törst i form av en enhetlig Ström och sedan dela sig i flera delströmmar (33), vilka bringas att konvergera i det närmaste koniskt och slutligen fortsätta som cylindriska chargeringsströmmar (8) tili ytan av bädden i en nedanför förbehandligssilon (6) belägen smältugn (9); och att frän mitten av chargeringsblandningens delströmmar leds het inert gas genom charge-blandningsbädden motströms i förhällande tili chargeblandningens chargeringsriktning, och gasen leds tili delströmmarnas koniskt kon-vergerande zon sä att huvuddelen av den heta inerta gasen leds tili nedre delen av delströmmarnas koniskt konvergerande zon, och resten av gasen inmatas pä ett ställc, som är beläget ovanför inmatningsstället för gasens huvuddel, men dock inom delströmmarnas koniskt konvegerande zon, och gasen inleds i denna zon med sadan hastighet, att t.o.m. partiell fluidisering av chargeblandningen förhindras, gaserna bringas att stiga genom chargeblandningsbädden och ätervinns i förbehandlingssilons Övre del (41), företrädesvis pä flera ställen.
2. Sätt enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknat av att den heta inerta gasen bildas genom att förbränna (17) en del av den i smältugnen bildade CO-haltiga gasen, genom att i den bildade rökgasen inblanda fran förbehandlingssilon avledd, sarat därefter tvättad (22) och torkad (23) cirkulationsgas (25) för ästadkommande av inert gas i önskad mängd och med önskad temperatur.
3. Sätt enligt patentkravet 2, kännetecknat av att för uppnäende av önskad temperatur och god sammanblandning mcllan den inerta gasens komponenter leds blandningen (18) av rökgas och tili nedkylning av denna använd cirkulationsgas (15) tangentiellt, och den till ytterligare regiering använda cirkulationsgasen (19) radiellt tili utrymmet mellan delströmmarna (33).
