Abstract

Uppfinningen avser ett förfarande i en skogsmaskin (10), enligt vilket förfarande med en eller flera sensorer (15) observeras skogsmaskinens (10) omgivning för att skapa observationer, och observationerna samlas till en databas (12) över omgivningen, och med hjälp av databasens (12) observationer bestäms körspåret (13) i omgivningen, körspårets (13) målbredd bestäms, på grundval av databas (12) och målbredd definieras automatiskt i körspåret (13) befintliga träd (11) för fällning, nämnda träd (11) i körspåret (13) fälls för att bredda körspåret (13) till målbredden eller bredare. Uppfinningen avser dessutom ett system (36) i en skogsmaskin (10).
