Abstract
Esillä oleva keksintö käsittelee uutta suurikokoisen polttomoottorin kaksoisturboahdinjärjestelyä, joka moottori (2) käsittää sylinterilohkon (6), jossa on joukko sylinterejä (4), yhden tai useamman sylinterikannen (8), ainakin yhden pakosarjan (12), ainakin yhden imusarjan ja kaksi sarjaan kytkettyä turboahdinta (16, 18) pyöritettäväksi moottorin pakokaasuilla ja ahtamaan ilmaa moottorin sylintereihin (4), jolloin kummassakin turboahtimessa (16, 18) on tulokotelo (20, 26) pakokaasulle ja poistokotelo (22, 28) pakokaasulle sekä kompressorikotelo (32, 38), jolloin turboahtimet (16, 18) on sijoitettu moottorin (2) päätyyn yhteisen kannakkeen (14) tukemina/siihen kiinnitettynä ensimmäisen turboahtimen (16) pakokaasun poistokotelon (22) ollessa liitetty paljeputken (24) välityksellä toisen turboahtimen (18) pakokaasun tulokoteloon (26).
