Abstract
Tämän keksinnön kohde on kielisoittimen, erityisesti sähkökitaran sustain –laite. On tunnettu, että värähtelevän kielen energiaa siirtyy kielestä tallaan. Keksinnössä hyödynnetään tätä perusasiaa ja satulaan (30) sijoitetaan pietsosähköinen mikrofoni (35), joka muuntaa kielen (34) satulaan synnyttämän mekaanisen värähtelyn sähkösignaaliksi (38). Signaali johdetaan ohjausyksikköön (302), joka vasteena signaalille muodostaa ohjaussignaalin (37) satulaan sijoitetulle värähtelijälle (36), jonka mekaaninen värähtely saa satulan värähtelemään olennaisesti samalla taajuudella kuin millä kieli värähtelee. Värähtely siirtyy kieleen, joka jatkaa värähtelyään niin kauan kuin satulasta tuodaan siihen lisäenergiaa.
