Abstract
Keksintö koskee menetelmää ja laitteistoa ligniinipitoisen kuitupohjaisen biomassan luonnollisen rakenteen hajottamiseksi ja/tai ligniinin ja sitä vastaavien ainesosien liuottamiseksi osittain tai kokonaan oleellisesti maitohapon, maitohappo-oligomeerin tai näiden vesiliuosten avulla jatkuvatoimisesti siten, että sanottu liuottaminen ja/tai liuenneen ligniinin ja sitä vastaavien ainesosien molekyylien pilkkoutuminen moolimassoiltaan jopa selvästi alle 1000 g/mol oleviksi fragmenteiksi tapahtuu lämpötilan säädöllä (5) ja painetta säätävillä syöttöpumpulla (2) ja paineenalennusventtiilillä (6) varustetussa reaktorissa (4) vain korotettua lämpötilaa ja korotettua painetta hyväksikäyttäen. Tuote virran (9) maitohappo ja/tai maitohappo-oligomeeri on kierrätettävissä, ja pilkkoutumalla syntyneet pienimoolimassaiset yhdisteet käyttää biopolttoaineina tai sellaisten komponentteina tai lähtöaineina, fermentaatiolaitoksen tai muunlaisen biojalostamon syöttönä, kemiallisten tuotteiden komponentteina tai lähtöaineina tai polymeerien tai hartsien komponentteina tai lisäaineina.
