Claims (10)

1. Förfarande för att framställa fenol och aceton ur kumenhydroperoxid, kännetecknat av att förfarandet innefattar att bringa kumenhydroperoxid i kontakt med en fast syrakatalysator, som innehäller cerium och en legeringsoxid av en metall i gruppen IVB. 5
2. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1, kännetecknat av att nämnda metall i gruppen IVB är zirkonium.
3. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1, kännetecknat av att nämnda fasta syrakatalysator framställs genom att kalcinera en katalysatorprekursor, innefattande en oxidkälla av en metall i grupp IVB tillsammans med en ceriumoxidkälla vid en temperatur av ätminstone 400 °C. 10
4. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 3, kännetecknat av att nämnda temperatur är ätminstone 500 °C.
5. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 3, kännetecknat av att nämnda temperatur är 600-700 °C.
6. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1, kännetecknat av att nämnda katalysatorprekursor utfälls ur en flytande legering, innehällande cerium och joner av nämnda metall i grupp IVB vid ett 15 pH under 9.
7. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 6, kännetecknat av att nämnda pH är 3-8.
8. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1, kännetecknat av att nämnda fasta syrakatalysator även innehäller en metall, som är vald ur grupperna IB, VIIB och VIII i det periodiska systemet.
9. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1, kännetecknat av att nämnda kontaktskede utförs vid en ^ 20 temperatur av 20-150 °C och under ett tryck som varierar frän det atmosfäriska trycket tili ^ 6894,7 kPa. ό
