Denna uppfinning avser ett förfarande för fogning och/eller tätning av termoplaströr 5 medelst en omslutande termoplastskiva eller -holk, genom att placera termoplaströ-ren ände mot ände, rengöra och mekaniskt bearbcta de delar av termoplaströrens ytor som är avsedda att komma i kontakt med nämnda termoplastskiva eller -holk, vilken är rengjord och mekaniskt bearbetad pä samma sätt, tillföra värme tili nämnda partier medelst ett kring termoplastskivan eller -holken spänt värmeelement för 10 ästadkommande av en fastsvetsning av termoplastskivan eller -holken ti 11 de om-slutna rörytoma, vilket värmeelement kvarhälls kring röret tills den bildade fogen svalnat. Ett dylikt förfarande ärtidigarekänt frän US patentskriften 5 181 747, vil-ket förfarande avser framställning av ett T-stycke och utnyttjar komponenter som endast lämpar sig för en viss dimension pä de rör som skall sammanfogas.

Uppfinningen utgörs säledes av ett enkelt svetsningsförfarande, i vilket man med hjälp av en termoplastskiva eller-holk och ett bandvärmeelement kan ästadkomma ett med rörväggarna sammansmält svetsat ”svep” över en rörskarv.
Plastmaterialet i termoplaströret och i den skiva eller holk som används vid förfaran-5 det bör vara av samma typ. Det kan t.ex. vara en polyolefin, säsom polyeten eller polypropen eller nägon annan svetsbar termoplast. Materialet i termoplastskivan eller -holken kan vara sträckt sä, att det fiingerar som ett krympmaterial och/eller fömätat, säsom PEX, för att ge ökad draghällfasthet. Plastmaterialet kan ocksä vara modifierat med nägot tillsatsmedel, som förbättrar dess värmeledningsformaga eller 10 ökar dess volymutvidgning.
Längden pä den termoplastskiva som skall appliceras över en rörskarv anpassas efter rörets omkrets sä, att dess ändar efter appliceringen nägot överlappar varandra, var-vid termoplastskivans överlappande partier är avfasade sä, att tjockleken pä termo-15 plastskivan är huvudsakligen konstant utöver rörets hela periferi.

Vid hopfogning av rör framställda genom spirallindning av en hälprofil, kan man däremot utnyttja de i röret spirallinjigt löpande radiella mellanväggama som ett gängförband efter det att i den inre väggen av röret avlägsnas pä ett avsnitt i den ena röränden och ett lika längt avsnitt av den yttre väggen i den andra röränden. För att 5 hindra att det medium som skall transporteras i röret inte skall tränga in i den av hälprofilens hälighet bildade, spiralformigt genom hela röret löpande kanalen, mäste profilöppningen i vardera röränden tillslutas pä lämpligt sätt, t.ex. med termoplast-material pä det ställe, där röret fortfarande uppvisar bade en yttre och en inre vägg.

Vid hopfogning av tvä av en hälprofil av spirallindade rör la och Ib avlägsnas den inre rörväggen pä ett avsnitt i änden av röret la och den yttre rörväggen pä ett lika langt avsnitt i änden av röret Ib. Profilöppningen i gränsytan mellan det avskalade partiet och den del av respektive rör la, Ib med dubbla rörväggar tillslutets pä lämp-5 ligt sätt med termoplastmaterial av samma typ som själva rörväggen eller med en termoplastelastomer som pressas in i öppningen och svetsas fast. De genom avskal-ningen blottade spiralformigt löpande radiella mellanväggarna i vardera röränden används nu som gängförband mellan rörändama, sä att de avskalade partiema skru-vas in i varandra. Tili foljd av denna lösning behövs inget inre rotstöd för centrering 10 av rörändarna vid de fortsatta arbetsskedena.
Efter det att rörändama skruvats in i varandra rengörs rörytoma kring skarvstället pä ett ca 400 mm (vid rördimensionen DN 1200) brett omräde med ett fettlösande rengöringsmedel. Det rengjorda rörsegmentet bearbetas sedan maskinellt med slip-15 dukellerstälborsteförattavlägsnaeventuelltoxidskiktfränrörytan.Entermoplast-skiva 2 av samma plastmaterial som nämnda rör la, Ib, t.ex. vid polyetenrör en HD-polyetenskiva med en tjocklek av ca 6-10 mm, skärs tili en bredd av ca 300 mm och en längd som överstiger omkretsen pä röret med ca 50-100 mm för att bilda ett • överlapp, dä termoplastskivan 2 appliceras kring det rengjorda och bearbetade rör- · ; "· 20 segmentet kring skarvstället. Pä den kring skarvstället applicerade termoplastskivan 2 läggs nu ett bandvärmeele-5 ment 3 och spännes at, sä att termplastskivan pressas jämnt mot rörytan. För ett spirallindat rör med dimensionen DN 1200 används ett bandvärmeelement 3 av di-mensionen DN 1350 mm och med en bredd av 300 mm. Detta bandvärmeelement 3 är uppbyggt av tre med spännorgan 4 sammankopplade segment 3a, 3b, 3c. Band-värmeelementet 3 samtliga segment 3a, 3b, 3c är kopplade tili en styrenhet 5, vilken 10 är programmerbar sä, att den tillför bandvärmeelementet 3 den energi som erfordras för att det skall uppvärmas tili och hällas vid en pä förhand bestämd temperatur. För ändamälet uppvisar varje segment 3a, 3b, och 3c ett värmeorgan 6, som via ett ka-belfäste 7 och en separat elkabel 8 är kopplad tili styrenheten 5, och en temperatur-givare 9, vilken via en annan elkabel 10 är kopplad tili styrenheten 5, för att ständigt 15 avkänna respektive segments 3a, 3b, 3c temperatur och via elkabeln 10 sända ifräga-varande signal till styrenheten 5, som pä basen av den mottagna signalen är anordnad att reglera eltillförseln tili respektive segments värmeorgan 6. Efter det värmeelementet 3 slagits frän skall det ännu hällas kvar kring rörskarven till dess att temperaturen sjunkit under 100°C, dä termoplastmaterialet igen ätergätt i fast form. Da avlägsnandet av bandvärmeelementet 3 avlägsnas erhälles en siat och fullständigt tät svetsad rörskarv.

Ovannämnda utföringsexempel har endast tili uppgift att klargöra uppfinningen och inte begränsa densamma, utan skyddsomfanget bestams av bifogade patentkrav. En fackman inser tydligt att förfarandet enligt uppfinningen lika bra gär att tillämpa vid fogning av andra typer av termoplaströr och fogning mellan rör och rörsystemskom-10 ponenter av termoplast.

Claims (10)
1. Förfarande for fogning och/eller tabling av termoplaströr (la, Ib) medelst en om-slutande termoplastskiva (2) eller -holk, genom att placera termoplaströren ände mot ände, rengöra och mekaniskt bearbeta de delar av termoplaströrens ytor som är 5 avsedda att komma i kontakt med nämnda termoplastskiva (2) eller -holk, vilken är rengjord och mekaniskt bearbetad pä samma sätt, tillföra värme tili nämnda partier medelst ett kring termoplastskivan (2) eller -holken spänt värmeelement for ästad-kommande av en fastsvetsning av termoplastskivan (2) eller -holken tili de omslut-na rörytoma, vilket värmeelement kvarhälls kring röret tills den bildade fogen sval-10 nat, kännetecknat därav, att, som värmeelement används ett bandvärmeelement (3) som fastspäns kring termoplastskivan (2) eller -holken och kopplas tili en styrenhet (5), vilken är programmerbar tili önskad temperatur, för uppvärmning av termo-plastmaterialet i termoplastskivan (2) eller -holken sanat i de av nämnda skiva eller holk omslutna ytoma av rören (la, lb) tili smält tillständ. 15
