Claims (3)

1. Förbättrat dränerings- och retentionshjälpmedel för pappersframställning, kännetecknat av, 5 att det tillsätts i en vattenhaltig pappersmäld som innehäller massa och att det omfattar en kiselsyrahaltig, kat-jonisk stärkelsekomposition, vilken föreligger i fast form och innehäller ca. 1-25 vikt-% kiseldioxid och väsentli-gen bestär av granulater av en katjoniserad stärkelse med 10 kiseldioxiden i form av en vattenlöslig polysilikatmikro-gel som avsatts pä dess yta och eventuellt innehäller kom-positionen ytterligare enskilda agglomerat av kiseldioxid-mikrogeler i blandning med de kiselsyrahaltiga stärkelse-granulaterna. 15
2. Förbättrat dränerings- och retentionshjälpmedel enligt patentkrav 1, kännetecknat av, att den katjoniserade stärkelsen är en katjoniserad potatisstär-kelse.
