Claims (18)
1. Förfarande för framställning av absorberande ämnen av lignocellulosamaterial, kännetecknat av att förfarandet omfattar följande steg: a) lignocellulosamaterialet behandlas med alkali säledes, att en del av ligninet och/eller hemicellulosan som ingar i materialet avlägsnas, b) efter alkalibehandlingen utföres en initieringsbehandling för att producera reaktiva radikaler i cellulosan, c) efter steg (b) tillsättes tili materialet ätminstone en monomer, som eller vilka innehaller vinylgrupper, samt ett tvärbindande ämne, d) materialet som bildats vid steg (c) polymeriseras.
2. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1, kännetecknat av att lignocellulosamaterialet som är utgängsmaterial är fibrigt eller folieaktigt.
3. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 2, kännetecknat av att lignocellulosamaterialet bestar av spannmälsskal, agnar eller halm.
4. Förfarande enligt nägot av de föregäende patentkraven, kännetecknat av att lignocellulosamaterialet tvättas med vatten ftjr att avlägsna orenheter före alkalibehandlingen vid steg (a). * M I t • · I • V
