Claims (15)
1. Förfarande för att uppskatta läget (X) för en mottagare (R, R’) i en tradlös telekommunikationsmiljö (RN), vilken omfattar ett flertal kanaler för samtidig kommunikation, varvid varje kanal har ätminstone en signalparameter 5 (V), som varierar beroende pä läget (X) pä ett annat sätt än pä de andra kana- lerna, kännetecknat av att förfarandet omfattarföljande steg: för var och en av ett flertal kalibreringspunkter i den trädlösa tele-kommunikationsmiljön bestäms en mängd kalibreringsmätningar (CM), varvid var och en mängd kalibreringsmätningar omfattar läget (X) för kalibrerings-10 punkten i fraga och ätminstone en uppmätt signalparameter (V) för var och en av flera kanaler i kalibreringspunkten i fraga; pä basis av kalibreringsmätningarna (CM) upprätthälls en statistisk modell (SM) av flera kanalers signalparametrar (V) som en funktion av motta-garens läge i den trädlösa telekommunikationsmiljön (RN); 15 en mängd observerade signalparametrar (CO) bestäms, vilken mängd omfattar ätminstone en observerad signalparameter (V) för var och en av flera kanaler i mottagarens (R, R’) läge (X); och ett lägesestimat (LE) som approximerar läget (X) för mottagaren (R, R’) bestäms pä basis av den statistiska modellen (SM) och mängden observe-20 rade signalparametrar (CO).
