Abstract

In a circuit arrangement having a comparator for monitoring and limiting the speed of drive motors, in which one comparator input has applied to it a signal corresponding to the drive speed of a motor, and the output is connected to a circuit which engages in the power supply of the motor, and in which the power supply voltage for the motor is passed to a power amplifier via a switch on which an emergency-stop circuit can act, particularly during use in the setting-up and programming mode of automatic handlers for the protection of the user who is working in the action region of the automatic handlers, a signal converter is connected directly to the power amplifier which acts on the motor, and the output signal of the signal converter is connected to the comparator, which acts on an interrupter circuit which engages directly in the emergency-stop circuit.
