Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase input impedance during direct driving by cutting off a bias for zero-cross point detection applied to the input of an inverter when the inverter is driven directly. CONSTITUTION:When an AC source is connected to an input terminal IN, the output of a flip-flop F/F has a level ''1'', and a switch element SW1 turns on. Therefore, a bias at a switching point is applied to the input of an inverter I1 by an inverter I2, and the output of the inverter I1 is inverted at the zero-cross point of the AC source. When a digital source is connected directly to the input terminal IN, the output of the F/F has a level ''0'' and the switch element SW1 turns off. Thus, the impedance of the input element IN increases.
