PROCEDIMIENTO DE DEPOSICION DE RECUBRIMIENTOS RESINOSOS SOBRE SUPERFICIES METALICAS, POR REACCION SOBRE LAS MISMAS, MEDIANTE LA PUESTA EN CONTACTO DE ESTAS CON UNA SOLUCION ACUOSA ACIDA DE RECUBRIMIENTO QUE CONTIENE PARTICULAS RESINOSAS SOLIDAS DISPERSADAS. LOS COMPONENTES DE LA COMPOSICION AUTODEPOSITABLE SON: AGUA, SOLIDOS DE RESINA DISPERSADOS EN EL MEDIO ACUOSO Y UN ACTIVADOR, FORMADO POR UN SISTEMA ACIDO/OXIDANTE (P.E. H2O2 Y HF; NO2H) Y UN COMPUESTO QUE CONTIENE IONES FERRICOS Y HF, OTROS COMPUESTOS CON METALES SOLUBLES Y UN ACIDO INORGANICO Y OTRO ORGANICO. EL PH DE LA COMPOSICION ES DE 1,6 A 5,0; LAS RESINAS CONTIENEN CLORURO DE VINILIDENO ESTABILIZADO INTERNA O EXTERNAMENTE, POR EJEMPLO COPOLIMEROS DE CLORURO DE VINILIDENO Y MONOMEROS ACRILICOS O VINILICOS Y UN MATERIAL IONICO SOLUBLE EN AGUA, POR EJEMPLO SULFOETIL-METACRILATO SODICO. SE PUEDEN AÑADIR PIGMENTOS, COLORANTES Y OTROS ADITIVOS. LA SUPERFICIE SE EXTRAE DE LA COMPOSICION ACUOSA, SE ENJUAGA POR ROCIADO CON AGUA Y EL RECUBRIMIENTO SE CURA A 20-120JC CON AGUA O VAPOR DE AGUA.
