DISPOSITIVO CAPACITIVO PARA MEDIR EL DIAMETRO DE UNA FIBRA DIELECTRICA. COMPRENDE PLACAS DELGADAS (A3, A4) EQUIPADAS CON PROLONGACIONES EN LOS EXTREMOS, PARA GENERAR REGIONES CON UN POTENTE CAMPO ELECTRICO CERCA DE LOS BORDES, CON EL FIN DE COMPENSAR LAS VARIACIONES DEL CAMPO Y, POR LO TANTO, DE REDUCIR AL MINIMO LOS EFECTOS DE LAS VIBRACIONES DE LA FIBRA (FD) DIELECTRICA EN LA MAYOR PARTE DEL ESPACIO COMPRENDIDO ENTRE LAS PLACAS (A3, A4). DICHAS PLACAS PUEDEN COMPRENDER PLACAS RECTANGULARES, QUE ESTAN PROVISTAS DE DOS PROLONGACIONES EN LOS EXTREMOS DE UN LADO Y QUE SE CONECTAN ELECTRICAMENTE A LAS PLACAS, ESTANDO LAS PROLONGACIONES ENCARADAS UNA A LA OTRA, DE TAL MANERA QUE A TRAVES DE ELLAS PASA LA FIBRA DIELECTRICA.
