CONSISTE EN QUE UNA CABEZA DE LECTURA-ESCRITA EN UNA UNIDAD DE DISCO FLEXIBLE ES DESPLAZADA A UNA PISTA QUE ES INACCESIBLE EN UNO DE LOS TIPOS DE UNIDAD DE DISCO. LA CABEZA SE HACE RETROCEDER A CONTINUACION DE FORMA INCREMENTAL HCIA UNA PISTA ASOCIADA CON UN DETECTOR QUE INDICA EL POSICIONAMIENTO DE LA CABEZA SOBRE LA PISTA.
