EL PROCEDIMIENTO CONSISTE EN LA EXPANSION DE UN MANGUITO ELASTICO QUE DILATA EL EXTREMO DE LA TUBERIA (P) SOBRE LAS RANURAS (90, 92, 94) EXISTENTES EN LA SUPERFICIE INTERIOR DEL ELEMENTO DE ACOPLAMIENTO (B), EN LAS QUE SE INCLUYEN UNOS ANILLOS TUBULARES HUECOS (98), LLENOS DE GAS, QUE ACTUAN COMO COMPENSADORES DE VOLUMEN IMPIDIENDO LA RETENCION DE AGUA EN LAS RANURAS. EL DISPOSITIVO SE SUSTENTA POR UN CABLE E INCLUYE ABRAZADERAS Y GATOS PARA ELEVAR LA TUBERIA DEL FONDO DEL MAR. EL ELEMENTO DE ACOPLAMIENTO SE SITUA SOBRE EL DISPOSITIVO DE FIJACION Y SE INSERTA EN EL EXTREMO DE LA TUBERIA.
