METODO DE DETECCION DE COMPUESTOS IDENTIFICADORES TRICICLICOS, DE FORMULA (I), EN LA QUE X, Y Y Z VALEN 0-3, 1-3 O 0 O 1, RESPECTIVAMENTE; O DE FORMULA (II), EN LA QUE R ES ALQUILO C1-5, QUE TIENE APLICACIONES PARA MARCAR LIQUIDOS NO MISCIBLES CON EL AGUA, COMO FUEL DE PETROLEO. COMPRENDE EL TRATAMIENTO DE UNA MUESTRA DE DICHO LIQUIDO CON UN REACTIVO QUE CONSTA DE 20-60% DE GLICERINA, 20-40% DE AGUA Y 10-50% DE UNA AMINA ORGANICA, Y DETERMINACION DE LA FORMACION DE UN COLOR ROJO AZULADO, QUE INDICA LA PRESENCIA DE DICHOS COMPUESTOS IDENTIFICADORES. SI NO SE OBSERVA COLOR SE EFECTUA UNA CONCENTRACION DEL COMPUESTO IDENTIFICADOR MEDIANTE ABSORCION CROMATOGRAFICA CON ALUMINA ACTIVADA.
