Abstract

These films are characterised in that they comprise a specific proportion of electroconductive carbon fibres present in an elastomer film. The fibres are distributed in the said film by a centrifugal process so as to obtain films that are uniformly electroconductive or films, the electroconductivity of which is limited to a fraction of their thickness and the other fraction being insulating, or films having a conduction gradient in the direction of their thickness. Application: manufacture of multiconnectors, microconnectors, electroconductive gaskets and electromagnetic screening gaskets.
