Abstract
PURPOSE:To enhance durability and to give a lubricant effect, by adding a fine hard powder to an insulating layer, and processing the surfaces of this fine powder with an organic acid having a fluorocarbon group. CONSTITUTION:An insulating layer formed on a photoconductive layer consists of a resin and a fine hard powder, and the surface of this powder is processed with an organic acid having a fluorocarbon group represented by the general formula. Said organic acid satisfies the requirements of the general formula. As the fine hard powder, oxide such as cerium oxide, and sulfate such as calcium sulfate are exemplified.
