Abstract

The invention describes a heat exchanger, which forms a part of a coolant circuit, especially of a diesel internal combustion engine. A venting passage for the liquid circulating in the heat exchanger connects the upper part of the radiator tank with the upper part of the expansion vessel and ends above the level of the liquid contained in the expansion vessel. The invention is intended especially for coolant circuits in diesel internal combustion engines for motor vehicles.
