Abstract

The invention relates to a wood preservative concentrate and an agent prepared therefrom for preserving wood and wooden materials, composed of certain parts by weight of at least one organochemical, water-insoluble insecticide and/or at least one organochemical, water-insoluble fungicide, certain parts by weight of at least one water-dilutable synthetic resin, certain parts by weight of a solvent or solvent mixture, at least one nonionogenic emulsifier or emulsifier mixture, and, if required, a chemical compound, which acts as buffer material or pH regulator, and water, the solvent or solvent mixture being composed of at least one water-soluble hydroxyl group-containing and/or ether group-containing organochemical solvent and a water-insoluble solvent or solvent mixture and the concentrate or agent containing very high weight fractions, that is 50 to 37 parts by weight, preferably 48 to 38 parts by weight, of the nonionogenic emulsifier or emulsifier mixture. The water-insoluble solvent or solvent mixture is composed of at least one aliphatic and/or aromatic hydrocarbon and/or a liquid softener or a liquid softener mixture and is in a certain weight ratio to the water-soluble organochemical solvent.
