COMPRENDE LAS SIGUIENTES OPERACIONES: PRIMERA, SE INTRODUCE ACIDO METACRILICO Y UNA CANTIDAD POR LO MENOS EQUIVALENTE DE ALCANOL, EN UNA MEZCLA DE ESTERIFICACION QUE SE MANTIENE, MEDIANTE UN DISPOSITIVO DE CALEFACCION, A UNA TEMPERATURA COMPRENDIDA ENTRE 70 Y 170 GRADOS; SEGUNDA, SE INTRODUCE EN DICHA MEZCLA DE ESTERIFICACION UN ACIDO SULFONICO ORGANICO COMO CATALIZADOR DE ESTERIFICACION; Y POR ULTIMO, SE SEPARA DE FORMA CONTINUA EL AGUA FORMADA DURANTE LA ESTERIFICACION EN FORMA DE UN ACEOTROPO DE ESTER DE ACIDO METACRILICO-AGUA.
