PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA OBTENCION DE UN PIGMENTO DE DIOXIDO DE TITANIO.CONSISTE EN AÑADIR A UNA LECHADA ACUOSA DE PIGMENTO DE DIOXIDO DE TITANIO, A UNA TEMPERATURA NO INFERIOR A 85JC Y A UN PH ENTRE 9.8 Y 10,1, UNA 0,6 A 10 DE UN SILICATO SOLUBLE; NEUTRALIZAR LA LECHADA POR ADICION DE ACIDO EN TRES ETAPAS SUCESIVAS HASTA LOS PH 9,6-9,8; 9,2-9,4; Y 3-4; AÑADIR A LA LECHADA, A UN PH ENTRE 5 Y 6,5, UN MATERIAL QUE CONTIENE ALUMINIO PARA FORMAR UN REVESTIMIENTO DE ALUMINA HIDRATADA SOBRE EL PIGMENTO; NEUTRALIZAR, FILTRAR, LAVAR Y SECAR.ESTE PIGMENTO TIENE APLICACIONESPARA LA FABRICACION DE PINTURAS.
