Abstract
METODO Y APARATO PARA LA REDUCCION GASEOSA DE MENAS METALICAS EN PARTICULAS, MEDIANTE LA UTILIZACION DE UN REACTOR DE LECHO MOVIL CON EJE VERTICAL. EL METODO CONSISTE EN ESTABLECER Y MANTENER EN LA PARTE SUPERIOR DEL REACTOR UNA ZONA DE REDUCCION EN LA QUE SE HACE CIRCULAR A CONTRACORRIENTE UN GAS REDUCTOR CALIENTE, COMPUESTO PRINCIPALMENTE POR MONOXIDO DE CARBONO E HIDROGENO, CON EL FIN DE REDUCIR EL METAL CONTENIDO EN LA MENA METALICA. EN LA PARTE INFERIOR DEL REACTOR SE ESTABLECE UNA ZONA DE REFRIGERACION EN LA QUE SE HACE CIRCULAR A CONTRACORRIENTE A TRAVES DE ELLA UN GAS DE REFRIGERACION PARA ENFRIAR EL METAL CONTENIDO EN ELLA. DE APLICACION EN LA REDUCCION DE MENAS DE HIERRO PARA OBTENER HIERRO ESPONJOSO.
