Abstract
Procedure for the preparation of 5,11-dihydro-6h-pirido- (2,3-b) (1,4) benzodiazepin-6-onas. A 2-halogen-3-aminopyridine is reactioned with an ester of an antranilitic acid, in an organic solvent in the presence of a basic condensation agent at temperatures of 10 to 120 c. Compound (II) is obtained then below. Cyclize at a value of ph 7 or bottom and temperatures of 100 to 200 c. Compound (I) is obtained in which r is hydrogen, halogen or a group methyl.
