SE HACE REACCIONAR UN HIDROXITIAZOL (II), CON UN ISOCIANATO HAL-CO-NHR CON LO QUE SE OBTIENE UN COMPUESTO (I) EN QUE R ES ALQUILO C <- FENILO O FENILO SUSTITUIDO CON UNO O MAS MIEMBROS ELEGIDOS ENTRE HALOGENO, O TRIFLUORMETILO. LOS ALQUILOS PUEDEN SER DE CADENA RECTA O RAMIFICADA. ACTIVIDAD HERBICIDA, QUE PUEDE CONTROLAR O MODIFICAR EL CRECIMIENTO DE LAS PLANTAS.
