SE PREPARA UNA MEZCLA HOMOGENEA A BASE DE LA POLIOLEFINA Y 25 A 150% EN PESO, REFERIDO AL PESO DE LA POLIOLEFINA, DE UN TERPOLIMERO DE ETILENO-PROPILENO PARCIALMENTE CRISTALINO, 60-80% EN PESO DE ETILENO, 10 A 38% EN PESO DE PROPILENO, 2 A 10% EN PESO DE TERCOMPONENTES A BASE DE ETILIDEN-NORBORENO O 1,4-HEXADIENO, ASI COMO UN AGENTE ESPUMANTE APROPIADO Y EVENTUALMENTE UN AGENTE RETICULANTE APROPIADO, A TEMPERATURAS POR DEBAJO DE LAS TEMPERATURAS DE DESCOMPOSICION DE LOS AGENTES RETICULANTE Y ESPUMANTE.
