Abstract

The fuel pressure regulator (R) is arranged between the feed pump (P) and the petrol feed vessel (C) of the carburettor (W). It comprises a valve (5) equipped with an O-ring (17) which controls the opening of an expansion port (4) controlled by the vacuum (D) of the engine in the region of the intake pipes by means of a tube (14) connecting the chamber (13) to the intake pipes (15) the tube (14) opens into the chamber (13) via a calibrated nozzle (G1) the chamber (13) has a calibrated port (G2) for communication with the free air.
