Abstract

The device comprises an electromagnetic sensor (1), separators (11 and 4), LINE and RASTER pulses, and a counter (10) where the LINE tops are cummulated in a window defined by a counter (8) of the RASTER tops. A flip-flop (6) is charged by "0" if the frequency ratio mean deviates too much from the number of lines per raster transmitted by the television set and by "1" in the contrary. At the end of a period of time defined by an integrator (14), a comparator (15) deenergizes triacs (17). The transition from OFF to ON of the ON/OFF switch of the TV set resets the device through a rectifier (19) and a transistor (20).
