PROCEDIMIENTO DE PREPARACION DE UNA ALEACION DE BRONCE DE ALUMINIO. SE FUNDEN PROPORCIONES DE ALUMINIO Y COBRE PARA FORMAR UNA ALEACION QUE TIENE DE 6 AL 15% DE ALUMINIO, AÑADIENDOSE SILICIO, CROMO Y MANGANESO DE MANERA QUE LA ALEACION TENGA DE 0,1 A 0,3% DEL PRIMERO, 0,1 A 0,4% DEL SEGUNDO Y DE 0,1 A 5% DEL TERCERO. ESTOS TRES METALES SE UTILIZAN PARA FORMAR DENTRO DE LA MATRIZ DE LA ALEACION PARTICULAS INTERMETALICAS DE SILICIURO METALICO, PREFERENTEMENTE SILICIURO DE CROMO, MANGANESO O HIERRO, TENIENDO DICHAS PARTICULAS UNA DUREZA MAYOR QUE LA DE LA MATRIZ DE LA ALEACION PARA ASI FORMAR ASPEREZAS EN LA SUPERFICIE LIBRE DE LA MISMA Y REFORZAR ESTRUCTURALMENTE LA PELICULA DE OXIDO DE ALUMINIO DE LAS ALEACIONES EN LA SUPERFICIE LIBRE. SE UTILIZAN PARA FORMAR PRODUCTOS TALES COMO COJINETES, RUEDAS DENTADAS Y TROQUELES.
