PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA ELIMINACION DE LOS OXIDOS DE NITROGENO CONTENIDOS EN UNA CORRIENTE GASEOSA CONJUNTAMENTE CON OXIGENO, EN PARTICULAR, EN LA FABRICACION DE ACIDO NITRICO. CONSISTE EN SOMETER A UN PROCESO DE OXIDO-ABSORCION A LA CORRIENTE GASEOSA, REALIZANDOSE DICHO PROCESO EN UN DISPOSITIVO DE CONTACTO GAS-LIQUIDO EN CONTRACORRIENTE. EL GAS SOMETIDO A TRATAMIENTO PROVIENE DE LA COMBUSTION DEL AMONIACO CON EL AIRE O CON EL OXIGENO, Y CONTIENE NITROGENO, OXIGENO Y OXIDOS DE NITROGENO, NO Y NO , ESTOS ULTIMOS EN UNA CANTIDAD QUE NO SOBREPASE 6000 UPM. EN LA FASE GASEOSA SE PRODUCE LA OXIDACION DEL NO, PASANDO A NO , Y EN LA FASE LIQUIDA SE OXIDA EL HNO , PASANDO A HNO .
