CONSISTE EN LA INYECCION DE UNA MEZCLA ORGANICA LIQUIDA (5) Y UN CATALIZADOR, A TRAVES DE UN TUBO (7) EN UNA ENTUBACION (3) QUE LLEGA A UNA FORMACION GEOLOGICA (1) DE LA QUE SE PRETENDE EXTRAER UN PRODUCTO PETROLIFERO. SE INYECTA A CONTINUACION UN GAS OXIDANTE (6), INTERCALANDO ENTRE AMBOS UN TAPON (8) DE UNA SUSTANCIA POCO OXIDABLE, QUE AL REACCIONAR CON LA MEZCLA (5) PRODUCE LA SOLIDIFICACION DE LA MISMA, CONSOLIDANDO LA FORMACION, PERO SIN AFECTAR A SU PERMEABILIDAD. LA MEZCLA ORGANICA CONTIENE UN HIDROCARBURO POLIETILENICO O POLIBUTADIENO; EL CATALIZADOR COMPRENDE AL MENOS UN ELEMENTO DEL GRUPO DEL VANADIO, MANGANESO, COBALTO Y CINC. DE APLICACION PARA FORMACIONES QUE CONTIENEN PETROLEO O GAS, AL OBJETO DE ELIMINAR LOS CORRIMIENTOS DE ARENAS EN LOS POZOS.
