Abstract

The conditioner has a chamber (1) for heating and mixing air in the passenger compartment. It is supported under a hollow cross air inlet beam (2) and a hollow distributor beam. A driven fan (7) at the chamber entry blows air towards a heat exchanger and a mixer valve. These make a mixing chamber (9) with outlets for demisting and defrosting windows and the passenger compartment. There is also an auxiliary compartment (12) for feeding fresh air. There are three air outlets (16,17,19) worked by regulating valves (26,27).
