PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA PREPARACION DE 2-DESOXI-3-0-DESMETILFORTIMICINA A, B Y DERIVADOS, DE FORMULA (I), DONDE R ES SELECCIONADO ENTRE EL GRUPO FORMADO POR HIDROGENO, ACILO, AMINOACILO, DIAMINOACILO, HIDROXIAMINOACILO, ALQUILO INFERIOR, AMINOALQUILO INFERIOR E HIDROXIAMINOALQUILO INFERIOR, Y SUS SALES FARMACEUTICAMENTE ACEPTABLES. CONSISTE EN HACER REACCIONAR LA 2-DESOXIFORTIMICINA A, B Y DERIVADOSCON UN TRIALURO DE BORO EN UN DISOLVENTE COMO CLORURO DE METILO, PARA PRODUCIR L CORRESPONDIENTE O-DESMETILACION Y, OPCIONALMENTE, TRANSFORMAR EL PRODUCTO OBTENIDO EN UNA SAL DE ADICION DE ACIDO FARMACEUTICAMENTE ACEPTABLE. DE USO EN ABTIBIOTICOS DE AMPLIO ESPECTRO COMO AGENTES ANTIBACTERIANOS CONTRA CEPAS SUSCEPTIBLES O SENSIBLES DE MICROORGANISMOS GRAM-NEGATIVOS Y GRAM-POSITIVOS.
