Abstract

The de-clutching stop is incorporated in automobile clutch, being detailed to permit a stacked assembly. It uses a thrust ring (14) and sleeve assembly (10) to transmit the forces applied by a forked release lever to a ball type release bearing (11). The sleeve (12) fits co-axially in the inner race (20) of bearing, the outer race (18) terminating in an internal radial flange (19) with definite clearance (J) relative to the sleeve barrel. A spring (22) presses the ring and flange onto a sleeve barrel rib (13) to secure the various components in the axial sense, being directly or indirectly connected to the sleeve barrel. The flange ring and spring locate on the release lever side of the rib.
