UN CALENTADOR SOLAR SITUADO EN UNA CAVIDAD HUECA EN LA CIMA DE LA TORRE SOLAR RECIBE, A TRAVES DE UN ORIFICIO (29) DE IRRADIACION, LA RADIACION SOLAR REFLEJADA POR UN CAMPO DE ESPEJOS. AL BORDE DEL ORIFICIO (29) SE ACOPLA UN INTERCABIADOR (50) DE CALOR POR RADIACION, CONECTADO A UN CIRCUITO DE REFRIGERACION. EL INTERCAMBIADOR (50) CONSTA DE UN HAZ DE TUBOS (51) RECUBIERTOS DE VIDRIO, Y UN CUERPO (54) QUE SIRVE DE AISLAMIENTO TERMICO. EL INTERCABIADOR (50) RECOGE LAS PERDIDAS DE RADIACION SOLAR SOBRE EL BORDE DEL ORIFICIO (29) Y TIENE SU SUPERFICIE EXTERIOR DIRIGIDA HACIA EL CAMPO DE ESPEJOS.
