SE RECUPERA LA INSULINA CON UNA MEZCLA DE AGUA Y UN DISOLVENTE ORGANICO MISCIBLE CON AGUA, EN UN MEDIO ACIDO. SE SEPARA EL RESIDUO DE LAS GLANDULAS POR CENTRIFUGACION. SE NEUTRALIZA EL EXTRACTO HASTA UN PH DE 5 A 9. SE CLARIFICA POR CENTRIFUGACION Y SE ACIDIFICA HASTA UN PH DE 3 A 4. SE SEPARA EL DISOLVENTE ORGANICO POR EVAPORACION A PRESION REDUCIDA. EL EXTRACTO CONCENTRADO OBTENIDO SE SALA POR ADICION DE CLORURO SODICO. SE AISLA EL POLIPEPTICO USANDO METODOS CROMATOGRAFICOS Y PRECIPITACION.
