Abstract

The device comprises a drive coupled to a cam pair for angular adjustment of the headlights and having a collector (16) with a rotating brush operating as a programme switch. The collector (16) comprises an endless conductor ring (43) mounted on an insulating base (40), incorporating a series of positioning contacts (46), each coupled to a voltage source via a switching disc. The positioning contacts (46) are angularly spaced from one another so that the headlights are adjusted to compensate the movement of their mountings as the vehicle load is increased.
