PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA POLIMERIZACION DE SUSPENSION DE CLORURO DE VINILO POR LOTES. LA SUSPENSION ACUOSA DE CLORURO DE VINILO, EVENTUALMENTE JUNTO CON UN MONOMERO DE TIPO ETILENICO, COPOLIMERIZABLE CON EL MISMO, A LA QUE SE HA AÑADIDO UN 0,03-0,1 POR 100 DE AGENTE DISPERSANTE Y UN INICIADOR, SOLUBLE EN ACEITE, SE POLIMERIZA EN UNA ZONA DE REACCION, EN LA QUE SE CONTROLA LA ELIMINACION DE CALOR PARA MANTENER LA TEMPERATURA A UN NIVEL DESEADO, MEDIANTE CIRCULACION, A UNA VELOCIDAD LINEAL DE 1-4 METROS/SEGUNDO, POR UNA ZONA DE REFRIGERACION EXTERNA, INICIADA DESPUES QUE LA CONVERSION DEL MONOMERO ES SUPERIOR AL 20 POR 100. LA PROPORCION EN VOLUMEN DE CARGA DE MONOMERO A AGUA SE MANTIENE ENTRE 0,8 Y 1,3 POR ADICION DE MONOMERO DURANTE LA CIRCULACION. INMEDIATAMENTE DESPUES DE INICIADA LA CIRCULACION SE AÑADE UNA CANTIDAD ADICIONAL DE INICIADOR A LA MEZCLA DE REACCION. TIENE APLICACION COMO MATERIA PRIMA PARA LA FABRICACION DE NUMEROSOS UTENSILIOS DE PVC Y SUS COPOLIMEROS.
