SE HACEN AVANZAR LAS PILAS DE ARTICULOS A TRAVES DEL HORNO; SE HACE CIRCULAR AIRE Y A CONTINUACION SE HACEN FUNCIONAR LOS QUEMADORES DE COMBUSTIBLE (ETAPA DE COCCION); SE INTRODUCE UN GAS MAS RICO EN OXIGENO QUE EL AIRE PARA FACILITAR LA OXIDACION. LA ATMOSFERA DEL HORNO PASA A CONTRACORRIENTE RESPECTO A LOS ARTICULOS QUE VAN CONSUMIENDO EL OXIGENO, DESCENDIENDO LA CONCENTRACION DEL MISMO EN LA ATMOSFERA SEGUN AVANZAN. SE PUEDEN UTILIZAR ANALIZADORES DE OXIGENO PARA VIGILAR LA CONCENTRACION DEL HORNO. EXISTEN DIFERENTES ALTERNATIVAS SEGUN EL NUMERO DE CHORROS INTRODUCTORES DE OXIGENO Y SITUACION DE LOS MISMOS, CONCENTRACION DE OXIGENO ENTRE PILAS DE LADRILLOS ASI COMO EL RANGO DE TEMPERATURAS Y TIEMPO EN QUE SE PRODUCE LA COCCION. U
